How crafting works in Cobblemon
Most craftable items in Cobblemon are made at a Crafting Table using a shaped or shapeless recipe. Poké Balls follow the classic pattern — four Apricorns of the matching colour arranged around a metal ingot — while ancient balls swap the ingot for Tumblestone mined underground. Held items like the Choice Band or Focus Sash combine gems, metals and other items, and medicine is brewed in a Campfire Pot with berries and glass bottles.
Every recipe page above shows the exact crafting grid layout, the full ingredient list with quantities, and which Pokémon drop the item as an alternative to crafting it.
Where to find the raw materials
- Apricorns grow on Apricorn trees in forests — break the leaves or farm them from saplings. Each colour makes a different ball.
- Tumblestone (and its Sky and Black variants) comes from budding clusters underground and at high altitudes.
- Metal ingots (copper, iron, gold, diamond) are smelted from ore — the tier of the ingot decides how strong the Poké Ball is.
- Mint leaves grow from planted Mint Grass and determine which nature-boosting Mint you get.
- Food and medicine need berries, which drop from wild Pokémon and grow as crops around the world.
Frequently asked questions
- How do you craft a Poké Ball in Cobblemon?
- Place four Apricorns of the same colour around one metal ingot in a Crafting Table. The Apricorn colour decides the ball type (green for Verdant, blue for Azure, black for Slate…), and one craft yields four balls.
- What are ancient Poké Balls in Cobblemon?
- Ancient balls are pre-modern recipes that use Tumblestone instead of a plain ingot for the frame. They cover the Hisuian-style ball line (Feather, Wing, Jet, Leaden, Gigaton) and are crafted the same way at a Crafting Table.
- Where do you get a Thunder Stone in Cobblemon?
- Evolution stones are obtained by mining their ore variants (Thunder Stone Ore, Deepslate Thunder Stone Ore, Nether Fire Stone Ore…) and smelting or blasting the drops. Several also drop from wild Pokémon.
- What is a Campfire Pot used for?
- The Campfire Pot brews medicine (Potion, Antidote, Revive), food and mochi from berries and other ingredients. It is the only way to craft most medicines — the same page also lists teacup variants for Sinister Tea.
